He married Anna Catharina Olofsdotter Soderlund on 23 September 1832, in Karbenning, Västmanland, Sweden. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 1 daughter. He lived in Sweden in 1822 and Källtorp, Karbenning, Västmanland, Sweden in 1831. He died in 1871, at the age of 65.
