When Anna Titsworth was born in 1866, in Greenwood, Sebastian, Arkansas, United States, her father, Reuben Calvin Titsworth, was 20 and her mother, Amelia Easterwood, was 21. She lived in Arkansas, United States in 1870. She died on 26 June 1880, at the age of 14, and was buried in Oreana, Owyhee, Idaho, United States.

1866 · The First Civil Rights Act

The first federal law that defined what was citizenship and affirm that all citizens are equally protected by the law. Its main objective was to protect the civil rights of persons of African descent.

1867

This was the first county to be established by the first territorial legislature. In 1867 the county seat was moved to Silver City and in 1934 to Murphy. Named for the river, mountains and mining area explored by Hawaiian fur trappers in 1819-1820. Hawaii and Owyhee are different spellings of the same word.

1872 · The First National Park

Yellowstone National Park was given the title of the first national park by the U.S. Congress and signed into law by President Ulysses S. Grant. It is also believed to be the first national park in the world.
