Maria Ines Baqueriza Aspiazu was born in December 1814, in Ondárroa, Biscay, Basque Country, Spain as the daughter of Juan Bauptista Baqueriza Gomestegui and Catalina Aspiazu Aldazabal. She married Agapito Acarregui Cortina on 24 August 1835, in Lequeitio, Biscay, Basque Country, Spain. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 6 daughters. She died on 28 March 1876, in her hometown, at the age of 61, and was buried in Ondárroa, Biscay, Basque Country, Spain.
