Nehemiah Glenn Gould was born on 19 September 1837, in Tennessee, United States as the son of Robert Gould. He married Sarah Clay Wells on 31 August 1859, in Pontotoc, Mississippi, United States. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 1 daughter. He lived in Justice Precinct 1, San Saba, Texas, United States in 1880 and Justice Precinct 1, Ellis, Texas, United States in 1900. He died on 5 January 1915, in Waxahachie, Ellis, Texas, United States, at the age of 77, and was buried in Waxahachie City Cemetery, Waxahachie, Ellis, Texas, United States.

1862 · Battle of Shiloh

The battle of Shiloh took place on April 6, 1862 and April 7, 1862. Confederate soldiers camp through the woods next to where the Union soldiers were camped at Pittsburg Landing on the Tennessee River. With 23,000 casualties this was the bloodiest battle of the Civil War up to this point.
