When Carl Christoff Örbom was born on 20 September 1796, in Öd, Marieby, Jämtland, Sweden, his father, Carl Magnus Örbom, was 30 and his mother, Catharina Hermansdotter, was 26. He married Ingeborg Ersdr on 12 June 1821, in Näskott, Jämtland, Sweden. He died before 1873.
