When Stites Scudder was born about 1770, in New Jersey, British Colonial America, his father, Richard Scudder, was 26 and his mother, Rebecca Stites, was 27. He married Elizabeth Osborne about 1793, in Middlesex, New Jersey, United States. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 1 daughter. He died on 1 April 1812, at the age of 43, and was buried in New Jersey, British Colonial America.
