He married Juana Barbara Aragon on 14 December 1769, in San Felipe Pueblo, Sandoval, New Mexico, United States. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. He died on 20 February 1774, in Albuquerque, Bernalillo, New Mexico, United States.
