Luzia Obrecht was born about 5 May 1781, in Sevelen, Sankt Gallen, Switzerland as the daughter of Ulrich Obrecht and Christina Pfiffner. She married Nicolaus Tischhauser on 17 November 1803, in Sevelen, Sankt Gallen, Switzerland. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 4 daughters. She died on 6 June 1825, in her hometown, at the age of 44, and was buried in Sevelen, Sankt Gallen, Switzerland.
