Luzia Obrecht was born about 1780, in Switzerland as the daughter of Ulrich Obrecht and Christina Pfiffner. She married Nicolaus Tischhauser on 17 November 1803, in Sevelen, Sankt Gallen, Switzerland. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 4 daughters. She died on 6 June 1825, in Sevelen, Sankt Gallen, Switzerland, at the age of 46, and was buried in Sevelen, Sankt Gallen, Switzerland.
