Sietje van Dijk was born on 11 April 1773, in Ooltgensplaat, Holland, Netherlands as the daughter of Cornelis van Dijk and Cornelia van Eck. She married Adrianus Tiggelman on 18 December 1816, in Ooltgensplaat, Holland, Netherlands. She died on 21 July 1830, in her hometown, at the age of 57.
