He married Justina Haag on 28 April 1855, in Fere-Champenoise i Bessarabia, Ukraine. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 3 daughters. He lived in Russian Empire in 1833. He died on 25 May 1912, in Akkerman, Bessarabia, Russian Empire, at the age of 78.
