Brief Life History of Melchior
When Melchior Bracher was christened on 10 March 1689, in Rüegsau, Bern, Switzerland, his father, Benedikt Bracher, was 37 and his mother, Katharina Dietschi, was 32. He married Magdalena Hager on 30 January 1719, in Rüegsau, Bern, Switzerland. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 4 daughters. He died on 29 March 1751, at the age of 62.
