When Catrina Preslaer was born about 1727, her father, Anthony Presler, was 24 and her mother, Neeltje Cornelia Quick, was 33. She married Jurien Mackey on 22 September 1749, in Ulster, New York Colony, British Colonial America. They were the parents of at least 5 sons. She died in 1803, in Ulster, New York, United States, at the age of 77.

    Caused by war veteran Daniel Shays, Shays' Rebellion was to protest economic and civil rights injustices that he and other farmers were seeing after the Revolutionary War. The Rebellion served as a guardrail when helping reform the United States Constitution.
