She married Samuel Paul Hunter on 23 August 1869, in Orangeville, Wellington, Ontario, Canada. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 3 daughters. She lived in West Garafraxa Township, Wellington, Ontario, Canada in 1881 and Manitoba, Canada for about 10 years. She died on 29 March 1920, in Selkirk, Manitoba, Canada, at the age of 69, and was buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Pilot Mound, Manitoba, Canada.
