He lived in Lansdowne, Leeds and the Thousand Islands, Leeds and Grenville, Ontario, Canada in 1851. He died on 25 October 1864, in Toledo, Elizabethtown-Kitley, Leeds and Grenville, Canada West, British North America, at the age of 82, and was buried in Toledo, Elizabethtown-Kitley, Leeds and Grenville, Ontario, Canada.
