When Loren Miles Waldo was born on 2 September 1826, in Layton, Union Township, Auglaize, Ohio, United States, his father, Nathan Waldo, was 37 and his mother, Sarah Joslyn Buck, was 34. He married Rosetta Scripter on 8 July 1855. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 2 daughters. He lived in Savannah, Butler, Nebraska, United States in 1880 and Milford, Seward, Nebraska, United States in 1900. He died on 21 April 1902, at the age of 75, and was buried in Bellwood, Butler, Nebraska, United States.
