When Sidsel Catrine Jensdatter was born on 18 July 1820, in Stadager, Falsters Nørre, Maribo, Denmark, her father, Jens Hansen Vest, was 27 and her mother, Margrethe Johan Henriksdatter, was 33. She married Hans Nielsen Vest on 2 August 1844, in Torkilstrup, Nykøbing, Denmark. They were the parents of at least 8 sons and 5 daughters. She lived in Nørre Kirkeby, Nørre Kirkeby, Falsters Nørre, Maribo, Denmark in 1880. She died on 18 October 1904, in Lommelev, Nørre Kirkeby, Falsters Nørre, Maribo, Denmark, at the age of 84.

1829 · Oldest Leather Goods in Denmark
Kuffert Sorensen was established in 1829 by Carl Peter Sorensen as a leather goods company. Today the business has five locations and each are run by a member of the Sorensen family.
1847 · Casino Theatre (Copenhagen)
The Casino Theatre was built as an entertainment center by Georg Carstensen but was converted into a theatre in 1848. After many years of never gaining popularity, it was closed in 1937 and demolished in 1960.
