Mary Elizabeth Davis was born on 31 March 1791, in Loudoun, Virginia, United States as the daughter of William T. Davis and Lucinda Carpenter. She married Elias Hickman on 26 February 1818, in Virginia, United States. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 3 daughters. She lived in Barbour, Virginia, United States in 1860 and Elk District, Barbour, West Virginia, United States in 1880. She died on 7 March 1890, in Wirt, West Virginia, United States, at the age of 98, and was buried in Hickman Cemetery, Pulaski, Virginia, United States.

1812 · Monumental Church Built

The Monumental Church was built between 1812-1814 on the sight where the Richmond Theatre fire had taken place. It is a monument to those that died in the fire.
