Sa'ese'ese Afamasaga Aukuso was born about 1866, in Fasito'o Tai, A'ana, Upolu, Samoa as the daughter of Aukuso Paniani Afamasaga and Meleane Petaia Va'aelua. She married Sekai in 1898, in Fasito'o Tai, A'ana, Upolu, Samoa. They were the parents of at least 4 sons. She died before 1944, in Samoa, and was buried in Samoa.
