When Koti Togaga'e was born about 1907, in Savai'i, Samoa, her father, Taofi Togagae, was 31 and her mother, Solialofi Tuimauga-Seve, was 27. She married Tua Toomata about 1857, in Savai'i, Samoa. She died about 1961, at the age of 56, and was buried in Neiafu, Samoa.
