He married Deborah Ann Coles in May 1829, in Allen, Indiana, United States. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 1 daughter. He lived in Cass, Indiana, United States in 1840. He died on 13 April 1855, in Logansport, Indiana, United States, at the age of 55, and was buried in Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport, Cass, Indiana, United States.
