When Cayetano Aguirre Herrera was born on 7 August 1920, in Guanaceví, Durango, Mexico, his father, Aniceto Aguirre Lazcano, was 27 and his mother, Carmen Herrera Lucero, was 21. He married Amparo Medina in Santa Bárbara, Chihuahua, Mexico. He died on 8 May 1991, at the age of 70.
