When Isaac Hixon was born on 18 October 1762, in Medway, Norfolk, Massachusetts, United States, his father, Seth Hixon, was 28 and his mother, Bethia Partridge, was 23. He married Elizabeth Harding on 15 January 1788, in Medfield, Norfolk, Massachusetts, United States. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 1 daughter. He died on 18 March 1852, in his hometown, at the age of 89, and was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Medway, Norfolk, Massachusetts, United States.

1786 · Shays' Rebellion

Caused by war veteran Daniel Shays, Shays' Rebellion was to protest economic and civil rights injustices that he and other farmers were seeing after the Revolutionary War. Because of the Rebellion it opened the eyes of the governing officials that the Articles of Confederation needed a reform. The Rebellion served as a guardrail when helping reform the United States Constitution.
