When Esther Alice Guthery was born on 23 September 1873, in Paxton, Haddon Township, Sullivan, Indiana, United States, her father, Louis Cartwright Guthery, was 46 and her mother, Sarah Jane Clock, was 30. She married George Washington Johnson on 29 October 1892. They were the parents of at least 12 sons and 2 daughters. She lived in Liberty Township, White, Arkansas, United States in 1880. She died on 20 August 1935, in Beaver Township, Taney, Missouri, United States, at the age of 61, and was buried in Bethel Cemetery, Beaver Township, Taney, Missouri, United States.

1875 · A Treaty with Hawaii
In the Mid 1870s, The United States sought out the Kingdom of Hawaii to make a free trade agreement. The Treaty gave the Hawaiians access to the United States agricultural markets and it gave the United States a part of land which later became Pearl Harbor.
