When Christina Josi was born about 1746, in Adelboden, Bern, Switzerland, her father, Gilgian Josi, was 34 and her mother, Elisabeth Senften, was 28. She married Peter Ällig on 2 May 1766. They were the parents of at least 3 sons. She died in 1833, at the age of 88.
