Marenes Hagaman was born on 27 February 1821, in Martinsburg, Berkeley, Virginia, United States as the son of Arnold HAGAMAN and Ann SEATON. He married Elizabeth Ann Couchman on 4 March 1844, in Berkeley, West Virginia, United States. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 3 daughters. He lived in Union Township, LaPorte, Indiana, United States in 1860 and Doniphan, Doniphan, Kansas, United States in 1875. He died on 10 December 1904, in Highland, Doniphan, Kansas, United States, at the age of 83, and was buried in Highland, Doniphan, Kansas, United States.
