When Maren Olsdatter Ytre Mosbø was born in 1794, in Oddernes, Vest-Agder, Norway, her father, Ola Jensen Ytre Mosbø, was 31 and her mother, Ingeborg Jensdatter Øvre Mosbø, was 30. She married Torkel Olsen Utigard on 28 June 1812, in Oddernes, Vest-Agder, Norway. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 4 daughters. She died in 1841, at the age of 47.
