When Velam Welamsson was born in 1682, in Rasbo, Uppsala, Sweden, his father, Welam Samuelsson, was 29 and his mother, Mrs. Brita Samuelsson, was 24. He married Maja Andersson on 30 March 1714. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 2 daughters. He died on 24 August 1757, in Örby, Uppsala, Sweden, at the age of 75.
