Brief Life History of Catherine

Catherine McDaniel was born in 1774 in Virginia. She married Capt. Jacob Mann on June 3, 1796, in Bourbon, Kentucky. They had eight children in 19 years. She died on February 8, 1837, in Washington, Ohio, at the age of 63. Virginia, D. 2-8-1837, (Catherine and her husband Jacob Mann are buried on the old Mann Farm near Martinsville Pike, now the Birmingham Farm, in a plot near the highway, surrounded by a stone wall), children George, Henry, Elizabeth, John, Mary, Margaret, Rhoda and Malinda Mann."
