When Geesje Peters Kuiper was born on 4 September 1776, in Netherlands, her father, Peter Jans Kuiper, was 26 and her mother, Jantje Alberts, was 22. She married Albert Mensen Van Veen on 17 February 1799. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 3 daughters. She died on 11 February 1834, in Zwartsluis, Overijssel, Netherlands, at the age of 57.
