When Jesse Graham Doud was born on 20 June 1754, in Middletown, Middlesex, Connecticut, United States, his father, Jacob Dowd, was 29 and his mother, Mary Wetmore, was 29. He married Bethane Green on 1 April 1776. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 4 daughters. He lived in Wells, Rutland, Vermont, United States in 1790 and Bristol, Hartford, Connecticut, United States in 1800. He registered for military service in 1776. He died on 25 August 1831, in Poultney, Rutland, Vermont, United States, at the age of 77, and was buried in Poultney, Rutland, Vermont, United States.
