When Mehitable Buswell was born on 15 January 1771, in Kingston, Rockingham, New Hampshire, British Colonial America, her father, Samuel Buswell, was 41 and her mother, Mary Winslow, was 38. She married Josiah Marden on 10 November 1794, in Rockingham, New Hampshire, United States. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 3 daughters. She lived in Northfield, Merrimack, New Hampshire, United States for about 10 years. She died on 27 February 1862, at the age of 91.
