When Esekia Fuga Sae was born about 1930, in Vaiafai Savaii, Samoa, his father, Fesaesaea'i, Moemai Sila Fesaesaea’i, was 51 and his mother, Taiaga Sifou Tuipelehake, was 31. He died in October 1993, at the age of 64, and was buried in Savai'i, Samoa.
