When Maren Pedersdatter was born in 1716, in Evetofte, Melby, Kronborg, Denmark, her father, Peder Ebbesen, was 31 and her mother, Mette Pedersdatter, was 46. She married Peder Larsen on 21 June 1739, in Melby, Kronborg, Denmark. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 7 daughters. She died in July 1799, in her hometown, at the age of 83, and was buried in Melby, Kronborg, Denmark.
