When Maposua Fuaituai was born in 1747, in Samoa, his father, Maposua Foai'ese Leaoa, was 36 and his mother, Matigi- Matagi Leaoa, was 17. He had at least 2 daughters with Talaotaua. He died about 1825, in his hometown, at the age of 79.
