When Conrad Heller was born on 2 February 1845, in Rod am Berg, Neu-Anspach, Hochtaunuskreis, Hesse, Germany, his father, Conrad Heller, was 54 and his mother, Christina Koch, was 46. He married Christina Schmidt on 13 November 1866, in Alt Postal, Bessarabia, Russian Empire. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 4 daughters. He died on 12 January 1904, in Albota de Sus, Taraclia, Moldova, at the age of 58.
