When Anna Baer was born on 12 July 1672, in Kesswil, Thurgau, Switzerland, her father, Hieronimus Baer, was 29 and her mother, Ursula Henauer, was 23. She married Hans Jacob Roth on 3 August 1690, in Kesswil, Thurgau, Switzerland. They were the parents of at least 10 sons and 5 daughters. She died on 28 January 1735, in her hometown, at the age of 62.
