Manuele Langi was born in 1926, in Kolonga, Tongatapu, Tonga as the son of Sefo Langi and Mafi. He married Lesieli Fatai in 1938, in Kolonga, Tongatapu, Tonga. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 1 daughter. He died about 1990, in his hometown, at the age of 65, and was buried in Kolomotu'a, Tongatapu, Tonga.
