When Anna Aeschlimann was born in 1711, her father, Samuel Äschliman, was 28 and her mother, Christina Ryser, was 25. She married David Sterchi on 3 March 1730, in Rüegsau, Bern, Switzerland. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 4 daughters. She died on 7 March 1783, at the age of 72, and was buried in Rüegsau, Bern, Switzerland.
