When Sarah Paris was born on 23 May 1784, in Tennessee, United States, her father, Robert Alexander Paris, was 33 and her mother, Ann Howe, was 28. She married Joshua Harrison Jr. on 17 March 1803, in Shelby, Kentucky, United States. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 5 daughters. She lived in Scott Township, Montgomery, Indiana, United States in 1850. She died on 27 June 1854, at the age of 70, and was buried in Ladoga Cemetery, Ladoga, Clark Township, Montgomery, Indiana, United States.

1786 · Shays' Rebellion

Caused by war veteran Daniel Shays, Shays' Rebellion was to protest economic and civil rights injustices that he and other farmers were seeing after the Revolutionary War. Because of the Rebellion it opened the eyes of the governing officials that the Articles of Confederation needed a reform. The Rebellion served as a guardrail when helping reform the United States Constitution.
