He married Charlotte Beach on 8 February 1804, in Columbus, Franklin, Ohio, United States. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 8 daughters. He lived in Sharon Township, Franklin, Ohio, United States in 1850. He died on 29 October 1869, at the age of 87, and was buried in Worthington, Franklin, Ohio, United States.
