When Andrés Sicajá Teque was born on 10 November 1896, in San José Pinula, Guatemala, Guatemala, his father, Cupertino Sicajá Juarez, was 18 and his mother, Petrona Teque Darin, was 21. He married Raymunda Muñoz Ispache on 8 May 1915, in Santa Catarina Pinula, Guatemala, Guatemala. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 3 daughters. He died on 5 May 1943, in Villa de Guadalupe, Guatemala, Guatemala, Guatemala, at the age of 46.
