She married Paul Bonaparte Houghton on 4 January 1887, in Vinton, Benton, Iowa, United States. They were the parents of at least 2 sons. She lived in Anderson, Madison, Indiana, United States in 1920 and Denver, Colorado, United States in 1930. She died on 17 September 1942, in Pueblo, Pueblo, Colorado, United States, at the age of 76, and was buried in Wheat Ridge, Jefferson, Colorado, United States.
