He married Anna Winslow about 1801, in Sandwich, Carroll, New Hampshire, United States. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 1 daughter. He lived in Coventry, Orleans, Vermont, United States in 1850. He died on 10 February 1859, in Sutton, Caledonia, Vermont, United States, at the age of 76, and was buried in Newport, Orleans, Vermont, United States.
