They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 4 daughters. He lived in Independence, Arkansas, United States in 1860 and Healing Springs Township, Independence, Arkansas, United States in 1880. He died on 19 September 1899, in Banner, Independence, Arkansas, United States, at the age of 80, and was buried in Mount Zion Cemetery, Batesville, Independence, Arkansas, United States.
