He married Maria Manuela De Herrera about 1777, in Santa Fe, Santa Fe, New Mexico, United States. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 2 daughters. He died before 29 July 1828, in La Puebla, Santa Fe, New Mexico, United States, and was buried in Santa Cruz de la Canada, Nuevo México, Mexico.
