When Nils Pehrsson was born on 19 December 1740, in Bjällerup, Torna, Malmöhus, Sweden, his father, Per Nilsson, was 25 and his mother, Karna Nilsdotter, was 25. He married Bereta Hansdr on 14 August 1763, in Lomma, Malmöhus, Sweden. They were the parents of at least 1 son. He died on 16 July 1792, at the age of 51, and was buried in Billinge, Onsjö, Malmöhus, Sweden.
