When Daniel Israelsson was born on 24 August 1798, in Rydaholm, Jönköping, Sweden, his father, Israel Svensson, was 26 and his mother, Anna Svensdotter, was 31. He married Ingrid Zachrisdotter on 2 May 1824, in Rydaholm, Jönköping, Sweden. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 3 daughters. He died on 17 November 1872, at the age of 74.
