When Siri ( Sigrid) Olsdatter Skjeppestad was born in 1749, in Sand, Nord-Odal, Hedmark, Norway, her father, Ola Amundsen Skjeppestad, was 52 and her mother, Marit Persdatter Holt Hansstua, was 38. She married Finn Nilsen Søndre Sollaust on 25 October 1770, in Sør-Odal, Hedmark, Norway. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 5 daughters. She died on 28 July 1815, in her hometown, at the age of 66, and was buried in Sand, Nord-Odal, Hedmark, Norway.
