Mary Seager was born about 1772 as the daughter of Edward Seager and Mary. She married Carson Draper on 12 July 1815, in Richmond, Ottawa-Carleton, Ontario, Canada. She died about 1820, in Kirtland Township, Lake, Ohio, United States, at the age of 50, and was buried in Kirtland, Lake, Ohio, United States.

1786 · Shays' Rebellion

Caused by war veteran Daniel Shays, Shays' Rebellion was to protest economic and civil rights injustices that he and other farmers were seeing after the Revolutionary War. Because of the Rebellion it opened the eyes of the governing officials that the Articles of Confederation needed a reform. The Rebellion served as a guardrail when helping reform the United States Constitution.

English: from the Middle English personal name Segar, Segor, Sagar (Old English Sǣgār, from ‘sea’ + gār ‘spear’). Variants of its medieval forms may sometimes have been identical with those of Sigger (see Seago ), leading to confusion of the two names.
