When Margreth Buechler was born on 19 February 1620, in Hemberg, Sankt Gallen, Switzerland, her father, Uli Buechler, was 36 and her mother, Anna Braeker, was 39. She married Hans Fischbacher on 16 October 1644. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 5 daughters. She died on 1 March 1659, in her hometown, at the age of 39.
